What's Going On

Church isn't just about Sunday morning. It is about people supporting and encouraging one another in every possible circumstance. These opportunities are limited only by our willingness to invest in one another and the number of hours in the day. We're just getting started, but here is what we have going on right now.

Open Doors

Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 9 am

People need more than just to be taught or talked at. They need a place where they can just be. So from 6:30 to 9 am every morning, there is a pot of coffee on, and tea available.  You can come in and just grab a cup of something, or sit and chat, or sit and not chat, whatever you need.

Games

Sundays 6 pm - 7:30 pm
Wednesdays 1:30 pm - 3 pm

In order for us to be able to really help others, we have to be willing to get to know them, and to allow them to get to know us.

Getting together for board games, card games, or sometimes group activities can help us build a foundation for real relationships, real trust, and have a bit of fun in the mean time.

Doers Group

Mondays 6 pm - 8 pm

Church is usually thought of as people sitting around talking, or sitting and listening to someone else talk. But that doesn't work for everyone. Some of us need to be involved in things that help us feel like we're getting something accomplished. We've discovered that this can be a very real part of worship, too.

Youth Group

1st & 3rd Tuesdays
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

"Youth" is something of an ambiguous term. For us, it pretty much means anybody who is comfortable with water balloons.  Currenlty, we are looking at scientific data both advocating and denying the existence of God.

Care Groups

Tuesdays 2 pm - 3:30 pm
Wednesdays 2 pm - 3:30 pm

Being a Christian isn't about listening to Bible stories. It's about our lives being changed by connecting with a real and loving God. We can't help but show love to others. Care Group is a practical opportunity to do that.

Hymns

Thursdays 2 pm - 3 pm

Sometimes we need to revisit old foundations of what we believe and why. Centuries of theological depth and spiritual insight can be found in the hymns that many of us grew up with. They are treasures to be shared. We can explore our own experiences, our personal walk with God, and find fresh and inspiring worship in the informal gathering of worship.

Praise

Thursdays 6 pm - 7 pm

Would you rather feel the freedom to worship together with modern Christian praise songs? We have a time for that, too. Share what God is doing in your life, hear what is going on in the lives of others, and experience the presence of God in this relaxed but engagig time of worship..

Community Potluck Luncheon

3rd Wednesday each month 12 pm

Originally with an emphasis on seniors (over 50), this has become an opportunity for people of varying ages to get to know each other. Lunch is usually followed by a guest speaker who has information relevant or valuable to older Christians.

Weekend Camping

4th weekend in July

Since many in our church are advid bow hunters and members of the Wapiti Bowmen Archery Club, Wapiti grounds (located halfway between Lebanon and Lacomb) are offered to the church for a 3 day weekend family time. There are games, music, and fun, finishing up with Sunday services at the camp followed by a potluck.

Trunk-or-Treat

October 31st 6pm - 8 pm

Church isn't just about sharing what we believe with the rest of the community, but, in every possible, being what the community needs to be a safer and better place. Trunk-or-Treat has become an important part of our service to the Lebanon community, where we provide a safe and positive venue for children and their families to build happy memories together.

Passover

Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 6 pm

The cultural context of how Jesus lived can be really valuable in helping us understand Him more. We share the traditional Passover meal each year to remind us of the significant context of His sacrifice.
