Children's Ministry
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’ ” (Matthew 19:14)
The Children's Ministry at Ignite Hope is built upon a program designed to develop positive relationships and instill a love and curiosity toward the Bible.
Each member of our team has been trained in an 8 to 10 week course to consistently reinforce godly attributes using a language and standard that is consistent, regardless of what two or three person team is leading the children's ministry that day. This training is also valuable to provide tools for interpersonal relationships within family groups at all levels.
Safety and integrity is essential in today's ministry. Every leader involved in children's ministry undergoes a security background check every two years. And at least two trained leaders are to be with children at all times.
